The Apple Watch complication is not updating

The Cardiogram companion app for the Apple Watch requires WatchOS 6.2. and above. If you no longer see the app on your Apple Watch, please download the latest version of WatchOS.

How To Update your Apple Watch

The Cardiogram complication on your Apple Watch should update every 15-30 minutes. If you have the Cardiogram app open in the background on your iPhone, the complication will update more frequently, every 5 minutes. If you notice that the complication is not updating as expected, try restarting your watch.

To restart your Apple Watch, you need to press and hold the side button for a few seconds (not the digital crown), and then slide the power off button to the left on the screen. This will turn off your watch. To turn it back on, hold the side button again. Restarting your Apple Watch usually resolves any complication issues.

Please note that some Apple Watch faces may not be fully compatible with the Cardiogram complication. We have designed Cardiogram to send updates as frequently as possible, but Apple has limitations on how often a third-party app can send updates to an Apple Watch. For more information, please refer to this Apple document under "Transfer Data from iOS."
